Rutkai Bori Band: Pihitér
This program is held in Hungarian.
We are going on a journey to the imaginary Pihitér with the band at their sixth children's album launch concert, where they will guide us through a fast-paced party with fairy tales and magical creatures.
We ride a disco ball with the ice cream man, go boating on a sea of honey with Macika, jump around in the spring rain with the banana in his yellow raincoat, and dance the samba in sandals on the beach. We nap under palm trees with the "tired" elephant, peek at the stuffed penguin's dream, and finally return home to the "star-chirping" Pihitér. We wait for the lángos, the end of the hedgehog break, and even Santa Claus, as the music embraces the whole year; each month has a temperamental funk, hippie, jazz tune, but also a few rocking ones, with which we can relax after many adventures.
Bori Rutkai's lyrics playfully mix reality and imagination, and we can also admire her paintings that bring the stories to life on the screen. In addition to her colorful crocheted puppets, "real" guest artists also participate in the concert. Among others, Olivér Csepella, singer of the dance band Csaknekedkislány, Zsombor Dudás on percussion, Zsuzska Simányi and several child performers add color to the sound as vocalists.
We warmly welcome all generations to the concert of the two-time Fonogram Award-winning band, which is also enjoyable for adult ears: grandparents, parents, and even former kindergarten fans who have grown into teenagers!
The album is released by Gryllus Kiadó. After the program, we invite our dear audience to a picnic and book signing.
