The program selected in the House of Music Programme of the Interdisciplinary Performance Call titled "A username" is a community opera, a musical-theatrical creation about the relationship between our digital and offline personalities.

Who am I in this parallel reality? Who am I in the online space? How does my digital personality differ from my offline identity? How does technology shape my social connections?
In the age of the internet, our digital presence is inseparably intertwined with our everyday reality experience, but do we notice how it shapes our personality, our relationships, our self-image? The community opera titled "Username" is built on the stories of civilian participants, who, through their experiences, search for the answer to how virtual reality affects our everyday life. The stories are at once personal and communal, at once true and fictional, like everything we read on the internet.
Community opera? The creators and participants of the performance engaged in a 12-session community creation process to think and create together. This musical-theatrical experiment examines not only the dilemmas of digital identity but also speaks about how music can become a method of connection, shared discovery, and exploration.
After the performance, we will hold a meeting with the creators for the audience!
