Anyone who has seen Antonia Vai live knows that when she takes the stage with her musicians, an honest, powerful and captivating concert is always born – a journey into her own world.
Three years have passed since the last encounter. During this time Antonia moved back to Stockholm, wrote new songs, and waited until she was ready to meet the audience again. Drawing on alternative pop, soul, folk-influenced world music and singer-songwriter traditions, the new songs are moving toward a more acoustic sound.
A long-awaited reunion and a new beginning: on March 7 Antonia Vai will perform at the House of Hungarian Music, where the audience will hear the new songs for the first time, and of course the old favorites will not be missing either.
On stage with Antonia: Várnai Szilvia (piano, vocals), Günsberger Ákos (guitar), Huszár Ákos (drums) and Szeifert ’Jason’ Bálint (double bass).
