A 70-minute performance about loss and human relationships, featuring nearly forty dancers. Dance, movement theater, acapella, and amplified thoughts. Emerging emotions and stage presence, art, sensitization, education.
We Were Ten is a sensitizing, historical dance theater performance that evokes the heartbreaking events of the Holocaust, pointing to the deeper dimensions of human loss and relationships. In the 70-minute performance, nearly 40 dancers evoke the tragedies of World War II, expressing the emotions and pain of the time. The musical world of the performance is based on authentic Jewish melodies, complemented by a cappella singing, live violin music, and a duet by Lili Fundák-Kaszai and Ádám Kiss-B.
