Hats Off! – Twin Soul

In support of the mission of the House of Music Hungary, within the Fringe program launched in 2024 – under which we issue a call in three categories every year – we provide opportunities for emerging musicians and hobby bands at the beginning of their careers, as well as street musicians, music schools and creative music workshops to perform at various locations in the House. Hats Off! is our most informal series, in which we fill the outdoor surroundings of the House of Music, the City Park, with street musicians and the music they play. This time, Twin Soul will be performing around the House and at the Music Garden (ZeneKert).
Twin Soul is an intimate-sounding vocal–guitar jazz–soul duo. The formation consists of singer Dominika Domonkos and guitarist Dániel Schweigert, who place the emphasis on the mood and story of the songs. Their repertoire includes jazz standards, soul and R&B songs, as well as well-known pop hits in subtle, restrained arrangements. A special feature of the program is that the songs are performed in several languages, so each piece brings a new atmosphere to the concert. A Twin Soul concert is a calm, contemplative musical journey, where both listener and musician are given time to fully arrive in the music.
