This programme is held in Hungarian.

In most families, animals have been living there for at least 40 years. This is because exactly 40 years ago, in 1986, Kaláka’s first musical book for children was published, which bore this title. Many parents and grandparents surely remember this little booklet with the cassette. Even if cassettes are hardly around anymore, and unfortunately animals are also dwindling, Kaláka is eternal. New generations keep discovering these set-to-music poems for themselves, where we can hear the poems of such great poets sung as Dezső Tandori, Károly Tamkó Sirató, Sándor Kányádi, or István Csukás. Thanks to them and to the band, over the years more and more animals have been added to the ranks of musically interpreted living beings. Anyone who comes can be an ear-witness to this musical zoo: from the ant to the elephant, living creatures of every size—whether they live on land, in water, or in the air—are sung about by the members of Kaláka.
