The new performance by the beck@grecsó duo is an ironic and uplifting spiritual inventory. It is two creative people taking stock of the past, of heritage, of being on the road and of arriving. Cities, spaces, garages, railway tracks that will not meet even at infinity. Zoltán Beck and Krisztián Grecsó have looked inside themselves mercilessly to see whether the old hopes and beliefs are still there. What it means to meet the adolescent living within them, and of course what they pass on and what they live in now. Country, city, boy, girl.
After the 100th performance of “We Brought Something of Ourselves,” here comes the new beck@grecsó premiere, “Love comma peace.” Prose, songs, poems written together – in six scenes. The new performance is a spiritual, or rather emotional, continuation of the previous one, but it carries one concrete thing forward: this one will also keep changing and evolving until it reaches a creative end point.
