Emingó was formed nearly a year ago with the aim of placing the raw and essential sound of the rightfully renowned power trio of Bocó, Máté and Amb into a broader musical world. In 2024 they performed at the Müpa Jazz Showcase and also appeared, among others, at the Valley of Arts festival. The band, which has since expanded into a five-piece, explores the boundaries between genres with the open-minded approach of jazz. In their music, deep, melancholic moods mix with playful melodies that are almost childishly naive and carefree. On this evening the band will play material from their forthcoming album as well as their newest compositions. All those interested are warmly welcome.
