Have lunch with a concert!
In the House of Hungarian Music’s Lunchtime series, we can enjoy short concerts by young talents at midday, and there is even time for a meal alongside the 35-minute mini concerts.
In November, two young folk performers will play and sing. Through the sensitive dialogue between voice and citera (zither), the two female performers explore the meeting points between the traditional and the new. In their performance, different musical worlds gently blend into one another, creating an intimate yet experimental atmosphere.
The special nature of their concert lies in the female creative presence and musical sensitivity that at once preserves the mood of tradition and opens toward new, contemporary forms of expression.
Their program invites the audience on a musical journey inspired by Béla Bartók. In a citera–voice duo, authentic Hungarian folk music and melodies of various peoples are performed, reflecting the diversity of Bartók’s work as a collector.
The Trilla restaurant of the House of Music awaits its guests with a special two-course menu created just for this event. In the restaurant next to the Auditorium, which serves as the venue for the Lunchtime concerts, guests can choose between a meat and a vegetarian menu.
If you would also like to have lunch at the House of Music after the concert, please do not forget to indicate your table reservation in advance at the following contacts:
