Connected to the House of Music’s temporary exhibition titled Freddie is a concert by the Queen tribute band called Hungarian Rhapsody. Since 2018, the formation has proven itself at numerous domestic and international festivals (SZIGET, EFOTT, Bakáts Feszt, etc.) and musical events as one of the country’s highest-quality Queen tribute bands. At the concerts, the most popular Queen hits are performed in a form that is faithful to the originals yet dressed in a modern guise. The frontman of the authentically sounding band is Dávid Scheich (singer-musician and musical actor), who plays the lead role in the Hungarian production of the world-famous musical We Will Rock You. In addition to his fantastic singing voice, he also evokes Freddie Mercury’s genius on the piano and the guitar.
