Advent, the period leading up to Christmas that spans four Sundays, is about waiting. The days are already very short and growing shorter, while the nights, still growing longer, invite us to quiet and reflection. In our hearts, we prepare for the turning point when darkness slowly begins to give way to ever more light. It is good to be together during this time of waiting. That is why we invite everyone to join us on each Sunday of Advent. For each one, we have invited a choir from a different town, so that by listening to them and singing with them, we can prepare together for the celebration of Christmas.
On the third Sunday of Advent, the Cantare Choir Family will visit us from Gyöngyös to sing a few songs from their repertoire. Then, after teaching us a few songs, they will join us in singing by the light of the third Advent candle.
