As part of the Fringe program, launched in 2024 to support the mission of the Hungarian House of Music – with an open call announced every year in three categories – we provide opportunities for emerging musicians and hobby bands at the beginning of their careers, as well as street musicians, music schools and music workshops to perform in various locations of the House. In line with the institution’s mission, the program series Musicians of the Future offers promising young musicians the chance to introduce themselves in the House of Music – students of the music schools and music workshops selected through the call can give shorter concerts in our community spaces. The aim of the program is to showcase the diversity of music education, to inspire and motivate students learning music and their teachers by giving them the opportunity to perform, and to fill the community spaces of the House of Music with musical performances during the day as well. This time, in the Musicians of the Future program series, the Leguán Band, formed by students of the Krammer Teréz Music School of Csömör, will perform.

As part of the Fringe programme launched to support the mission of the House of Music, Hungary, we invited applicants in three categories – music school students, music hobbyists, and up-and-coming bands and street musicians – to take advantage of the opportunity to perform in various spots around the building. In line with the mission of the institution, the Musicians of the Future programme series provides an opportunity to showcase promising young musicians – primarily music school students – at the House of Music through short concerts in our communal areas.
