Dóra Tápai: Feel the Rhythm!
The program is held in Hungarian.
Music Edutainment Showcase, or MESH. In Hungarian, this translates to "HÁLÓ," or more specifically, a musical experiential education meeting. This is the essence of these two days, where we strive to present as many best practices as possible on how to convey music in an experiential way to the general public, especially children. However, it is also important that this is an opportunity to meet: with music and, through it, with each other. In this spirit, on Saturday we will present the best of the music education activities taking place at the House, so that everyone can experience the joy of music.
About the session:
One of the most popular sessions at the House of Music aims to explore rhythm, one of the three main components of music (rhythm, melody, harmony). Progressing from improvisation to composition, from simplicity to complexity, by the end of the session, "music" is guaranteed to be created and the participants' hearts will surely be beating to the same rhythm.
Dóra Tápai adapts the level of the exercises to the abilities of the participants, so no prior musical training is necessary.
The session is recommended for ages 10 and up.
