InThisTogether is a participatory circus performance that relies on the audience in order to take place at all. Everything begins with a choice: will you participate and shape it, or will you enjoy observing what unfolds before your eyes as a spectator? In this performance, the dynamics of audience participation shape the events. The creators invite 11 volunteer audience members as co-creators on stage each time, loosening the traditional theater boundaries. InThisTogether is a celebration of community and collective responsibility. If you choose to participate, you can experience the trust, focused attention, and joy of collective creation that is so characteristic of the circus genre. And yes, they also share the risk and responsibility with you! The performance is in English.
The OneTwoMany Collective is a joint project of Csuzi Márton, Zoletnik Sophie, and Lennart Paar, formed at the end of 2022. It is a company and creative platform where the co-founders, in addition to their creative work, organize festivals, integrate digital technology into art, and engage in research activities. Márton contributes his knowledge of contemporary dance and parkour, while Sophie and Lennart bring expertise in new circus, partner and aerial acrobatics, and object manipulation to the work. The young company's vision is to bring together various talents and to build bridges within the performing and movement arts communities in Hungary and the region. The aim of OneTwoMany Collective is to create, support, and promote performances that are born from innovative ideas but are fundamentally entertaining and spread the love of movement and creativity.
