On November 12–13, 2026, the House of Music Hungary will also join the National Cartoon Film Festival, the country’s largest animation film event, which takes place at hundreds of venues across Hungary.
Admission to the immersive 360-degree animated screenings in the Sound Dome is free, but advance registration is required due to limited capacity.
A tribute to classic Hungarian animation through bold reinterpretations of three short films:
Regölés (László Hegyi Füstös, 1978)
Flower of the World, World of the Flower (Dóra Keresztes, 2017)
Green Admonitions for Every Day (Sándor Reisenbüchler and collaborators, 1992)
These films, produced by Pannónia Film Studio and Kecskemét Animation Film Studio, bring Hungarian folk traditions, beliefs, and the relationship between humanity and nature to life.
The Sound Dome’s unique technology lets you not only see the worlds of these works, but experience them. Word-images flicker to life as morphing animations across the projected sky, while a vortex of music envelops the audience.
It is at once a spiritual experience, a visual journey, and a thought-provoking call to environmental awareness.
