In spring 2025 our colleagues recorded two highly successful concerts with a 360-degree camera. The performances by Makrohang and Vad Fruttik were, to begin with, a very unique audiovisual experience; the first was accompanied by strong light and sound effects, while the second was an intimate concert inviting an inward journey. The sound-dome is the most suitable venue for replaying these, since the technology here makes it possible to see and hear the concert as if we were sitting among the members of the band.
Vad Fruttik
In May 2025 Vad Fruttik concluded their tour called Mély with three concerts at the House of Hungarian Music. The band performed their best-known songs in arrangements that differed from the usual and, true to the tour title, were more profound, revealing new layers within them. The performances were at once liberating and inward-turning journeys, where light, sound and emotion melted into a single flow. One evening was recorded in conventional broadcast format, the other with experimental 360° cameras — from these a spatial concert screening made up of a few songs was created, which comes to life at the Dome_Reload festival.
The screening contains strong light and sound effects, and is therefore not recommended for viewers who are sensitive to them.
DOME_RELOAD is the traditional festival at the beginning of the year celebrating the House of Music's Sound Dome, a unique, immersive cinema. In 2026, we will once again welcome visitors with a week-long, exclusive program: re-screenings of our popular films combined with audience Q&As, the debut of two new Sound Dome films, and, as a further novelty, the launch of two new series at once – Sound Dome concerts and 360° concert films – with a performance by Meybahar, accompanied by a screening of our film DOME 016 Csontváry: Levante, as well as recordings of two previous House of Music concerts (Makrohang, Vad Fruttik), which we adapted to the dome's 360° space and sound system to give everyone a very special experience with these short concert films.
