Guided Tour for Children in the Permanent Exhibition
The House of Hungarian Music’s permanent exhibition titled Sound Dimensions offers an experience that – based on hundreds of thousands of feedback responses, we can safely say – is one that lasts a lifetime. We would like to make it possible for underage children to experience this as well – and in doing so give parents the opportunity to enjoy the exhibition at their own pace, knowing their children are in good hands. For this reason, a guided tour specifically for children, taking place without adults, has been created, the aim of which is to enable the youngest age group to encounter the themes of the exhibition in a way that suits their own needs.
The 90-minute session aims to win children over to the world of music through games, music, and by presenting parts of the exhibition that may not be immediately discovered at first glance. At the same time, it allows parents to enjoy the attractions of the House of Hungarian Music or even other sights in the City Park for 90 minutes without interruption. In order for the children to feel as good as possible and to be able to open up among peers, we kindly ask that you purchase tickets only for children aged 4–8, and only if your child is open to taking part in the program for an hour and a half without an accompanying adult!
Adults interested in the exhibition need to purchase a full-price ticket; they can view the exhibition independently of this program.
Recommended age group: 4–8 years
Maximum number of participants: 10 people
