Guided Tour for Children in the Permanent Exhibition
The session is held in Hungarian.
The House of Music’s exhibition titled Sound Dimensions offers an experience that – based on hundreds of thousands of responses, we can say with confidence – will last a lifetime. We would like to make it possible for underage children to experience this as well – and thus give parents the opportunity to enjoy the exhibition at their own pace, knowing their children are in safe hands. For this reason, we have created a guided tour specifically for children, taking place without adults, with the aim of allowing the youngest age group to encounter the themes of the exhibition in a way that suits their own needs.
The 90-minute session uses games, music, and the presentation of parts of the exhibition that may not be immediately noticeable, to win children over to the world of music. At the same time, it makes it possible for parents to enjoy the sights of the House of Music or even of the City Park for 90 minutes without interruption.
In order for the children to feel as good as possible and to be able to loosen up among their peers, we kindly ask that tickets be purchased only for children aged 4–8, and only if your child is open to taking part in the programme for an hour and a half without an accompanying relative!
Adults interested in the exhibition need to purchase a full-price ticket; they can view the exhibition independently from this programme.
