Shades of Christmas
This programme is held in Hungarian.
When it comes to Christmas, most people first think of joy, love, togetherness, and peace. The NEKED8 vocal ensemble and the jazz trio led by János Ávéd want to show the other side of the holiday at their concert, because during Advent, feelings of joy are accompanied by doubts, loneliness, and a sense of hopelessness that suffocates our age. We can explore these emotional fluctuations—and at the same time, the path of self-examination—through world-famous and lesser-known Christmas melodies at the joint concert of the two ensembles, where the fusion of classical music and jazz creates an exceptional atmosphere to accompany the Christmas journey.
